Analysts, finance directors and HR leaders from some of the largest employers in the North East attended the latest in the popular MHR Analytics roadshow event series today.
Held at the Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle, guests gained practical guidance via workshops and presentations about how to improve the quality of their data and embrace analytics technologies.
“We’ve been delighted with the fantastic turn out at all our roadshows so far this year,” commented data maturity and HR analytics expert Laura Timms, who gave a presentation about the state of analytics today, and a glimpse into the analytics world of the future.
“We’re hosting and speaking at a number of events throughout the year to help educate and share knowledge about the rapidly evolving world of data and business intelligence.”
“There is a lot of jargon around, with AI on the horizon for many companies, yet the majority being unsure of how to get started. As a result of that, we’ve had a great turn out from professionals who understand the value of business intelligence and the more advanced analytics, but want to know what it really means for them in their roles and in their own organisations.”
“Our job is to breakdown the hype and provide practical steps to get started. We want to help companies get the best out of the data they currently have, and make a plan to progress, in accordance with where data analytics is heading in the not too distant future.”
For those unable to attend the roadshow, the data maturity quiz is an online diagnostic tool to help organisations understand their data journey and take steps to improve to achieve business goals.
Further events will be added to our events page to give guests the opportunity to meet and gain guidance from our team of experts. Next in the series are London and Cardiff.
