Headline Keynote Speaker announced!

We are delighted to announce the headline keynote speaker for the 2019 MHR Analytics Summit Neil Martin, renowned Formula One data scientist and former head of strategy at Ferrari. Neil's career has seen him pioneer the deployment of data analytics as a key tool within the sport, developing bespoke software as well as operating, defining and executing race strategy.

Neil will be speaking at the Summit, sharing insights and experiences from his three-decade career of using analytics, modelling and technology to drive results at the pinnacle of world motor sport.

The 2019 agenda will include leading speakers from the data analytics industry and will have two interactive breakout sessions in the afternoon for delegates to choose from, one focused around hot topics in data analytics, and one geared towards using analytics in Finance.

Finance Keynote Speaker announced!

We are delighted to announce our second keynote speaker for the 2019 MHR Analytics Summit, Marianne Abib-Pech, CFO, author and speaker, with expertise in financial management and strategic business development. 

Marianne was the former Global CFO of Shell Aviation at the age of 35 and has since launched her own boutique advisory firm in Merger and Acquisitions with a focus on the Black and Caspian seas. At the Summit she will be talking around her experiences of data and analytics in finance and entrepreneurship, and sharing examples of how she uses data to drive business value.

An overview of predictive analytics and details of the value predictive techniques can add to your tool set and business areas. The session also includes a demo of building a predictive model and shows the different types of analysis.

- Presentation: "Analytics in the Cloud"

A look at the latest innovation in Analytics Cloud technologies. One single platform that can provide multiple streams of differing analytics functionality; ranging from insight automation and predictive outputs, to advanced data visualisations.

Group workshop participation to identify real-life business problems and propose solutions with analytics. The groups will then present and share findings back to the room for discussion.

What has your experience been in automating the reporting and consolidation process? How do we gain more time for analysis of the core numbers instead of data collection and calculations?

An example using FWP (Financial Workforce Planning) to show how Planning applications can help to change processes and culture within the finance function and beyond.
